Baby Keerthana was brought to Radhatri Nethralaya with ROP (Retinopathy of Prematurity) from Perambur eight years back. Having seen their socioeconomic condition, the laser surgery was done free of cost through the project Balanethra under the ageis of Gurupriya Vision Research Foundation (The Public charitable trust of Radhatri Nethralaya).
The little angel, now eight years old, has come back thrice over the last three years, to Radhatri Nethralaya not only for her annual checkup but also to contribute towards vision preserving laser of other similar babies like her.
She is seen holding another little Angel whom she has helped preserve vision by her donation.
Here is what her father Mr. Raghuraj and Mother Mrs. Hepsi have to say: “When we first brought our child to Radhatri Nethralaya, we were jobless and our daughter underwent free laser surgery under Balanethra Project. Now, for the past few years, we are earning so we would like to help similar babies like our child”
