Dr. Vasumathy Vedantham received the prestigious “Healthcare Warrior award” on Feb 18th 2021 at Mumbai. The award was conferred on her by The World Health and Wellness Congress for her unstinting community ophthalmology work during the COVID times. She gave a talk on “Taking eyecare to the doorsteps: COVID notwithstanding” at Taj Lands End, Mumbai to an august audience of healthcare professionals, after receiving the award
